  • Nixle Notification System


    East Pennsboro Township wants you to be safe and informed during emergencies and events in our area. These may include public safety threats, dangerous weather, traffic advisories and special local notifications. Information is key, and we strongly encourage you to sign up to receive text message alerts directly from the Township.   • Erford Road Bridge Rehabilitation Project Planned for 2018


    The Erford Road Bridge will be receiving much needed rehabilitation and improvement in 2018. Details will be shared as they become available. Sign up for Nixle to receive updates on the project, as well as detours and road closures.

  • Valley Street Sanitary Sewer Work


    Replacement of sections of existing sanitary sewer pipes in and along Valley Road within the Township is set to begin in early March and end by early May. The construction will cause intermittent traffic delays associated with flagging activities. Following these repairs, PennDOT will be repaving Valley Road from Rts 11/15 into Hampden Township. Expect paving activities to also cause intermittent traffic delays. Please plan accordingly.     Due to the impact of high winds which occurred during the severe weather event earlier this week many trees, and limbs, have fallen on many properties within the Township. Please be advised that property owners are responsible for the disposal of debris from their property, to assist in this process East Pennsboro Township is allowing all Township residents to utilize the Township Compost Facility for drop off of storm related debris without charge 7 AM - 3 PM beginning on Monday, May 21 and ending on Friday, May 25. Please visit the following link for more information regarding the guidelines and requirements for dropping off debris at the Compost Facility


    East Pennsboro Emergency Management Damage Assessment Teams have reported that many buildings within the Township have sustained varying levels of damage during the severe weather event, including damaged shingles, flashing, structural components and electrical components. Please take the time to conduct a visual inspection by walking around your house or business while looking for damage, please only do so from the ground, if non-utility damage is found contact your insurance company or a professional contractor to further assess the damage and assist you with repairs. If you find damage to utility electrical or gas lines please stay clear of them and evacuate your property, if the damage is an imminent danger to human life call 911 immediately, if the utility damage does not constitute an emergency contact your utility provider to report the damage:

    The Board of Commissioners will be meeting away from the Township Community & Municipal Center beginning with the workshop meeting May 16, 2018. Following is a list of the upcoming meeting dates and their locations:

Online Payment Center

Now you can pay your sewer and/or sanitation account from the comfort of your home or office by using our online payment service. You can use your bank account or a credit card. Credit cards accepted: MasterCard, Discover, American Express or Visa. When using a credit card a convenience fee of 2.65% or $3.00 minimum will be charged by the payment processing company.


An upgrade to the software billing system occurred in July 2015. Because of these upgrades your account number has changed. If you have your account set up on auto-pay through your financial institution, please be sure to update your account number.
